Today i spoke to the IIO again .This time i wanted to change my address .The officer was very nice and very polite.She confirmed the address to me and the same was repeated for my wife.
I asked her regarding the status of the my case.She repeated the details of my case RD,ND etc...Then she told me that the case is ready for processing(staging) and that they are processing the first 2 weeks of cases from September?????
I asked her since my EAD expires on November 25 do i have to extend it or will we know something soon.She told me that right now there is no problem with my case and that everything should be ok and that i should wait for 2-3 weeks to apply for extension.
The reason for it she said "Wait ..Let me check the EAD extension times we are behind" and then she came back and said "We are lagging behind only 2 weeks there ,so you can wait till the first week of October and if you do not get a status on the case by then apply for EAD extension".
Then i asked her regarding my daughter who is 6 years old if she will get stamping notice or the GC directly she confirmed that "All children who do not have the finger printing process ie blow 14 years will get the GC printed and sent out in place of the approval notice.".
I asked her due to the address change will the processing be delayed - She said "NO."
Friends some of the IIO's are very polite and give out information freely but some of them are sometimes rude .I just hope and pray to god so that the trauma and anxiety of all the friends here gets resolved very soon.
