i called NSC today since i am out of the processing times now.........
very curt responses like plz stick to the case details, and we are not here to look your case up, and dont compare your case to others
eventually too the address and phone number and opened a service request and said if you should hear a response withing 45 days, and if you dont call back after 60 days and not before that....
having said that here is the experience from the Canadian Counsulate in Buffaollo yesterday, where i went to get the immigrant visa stamped on my passport as a backup plan. In their letter it was stated that i can walk in btw 8 30 and 9 and they will make every effort to give itback the same day btw 1 30 and 4.
I walked in at 9 30, was called at the windown at 9 40, she checked all the documents and said plz take a seat.....
after 25 minutes my name was called again.....i was handed back the passport and landing papers, and was told Sir plz check all the spellings and dates right now so if there is a mistake we can correct it right now, saves everyone a lot of time
