Called an immigration officer this morning and he told me that a decision in my case would be made in 4-6 weeks.

Did the IIO say that your case is "with an officer" or "assigned to an officer" ?

Did THEY transfer yr case to local office or in VSC.
Most of the cases they are transfering to local offices..

The officer said that my case will very soon be assigned to an officer and I should hear something in about 4 to 6 weeks. Nothing about transferring the case to local INS was mentioned by the officer.
