Call your senators and congressmen regd proposed INS visitor/student regulation

I just called senator Diane Feinsteins office in Washington DC.
Here is the ph# (202) 224-3841. Call her and leave a message.
This would help senators and congress men to understand the
issues this blanket regulations will cause to legitimate visitors.

Tell them that it causes great grief and inconvenience to elders
who visit their loved ones. Make sure that they understand it
affects the tourism and trade as well.

I will also do the same and wish more people would do so. The highly doubt the effectiveness of this proposed regulation in detecting a terrorist. With INS, anything goes.
 
True but after 5/3 year the politician could have moved on

Sure, anyone can go and meet their local politician but once a PR becomes a citizen there is no guarantee that the same citizen will be able to pay back!

Absolutely agree with Bittu. If there is no lobbying against this in 30 days it will become law automatically. Every voice counts so please write/meet/talk to your local politicians.
