Have anyone called to New York Local INS office before after his/her case got transferred to there? My case got transferred to there in April and it is now mid-Sep and I have not heard anything from there at all...Is it normal? Please help...

personal visit is the only solution

The phone number has automated message for National Service center. I talked to IIO in Vermont and they said the only way to enquire is to visit them.

My case was transfered on May 16.
