Call to IIO..weird

Called IIo for the firts time to know the status for my case. The guy did not even ask me for my eac #. He took my details like name, address, DOB and said I will receive a response in 3-4 weeks. He also said that it usually takes 6-9 months for a I485.:confused:
 
It is called height of incompetence

I heard similar responses from the passport office in Calcutta :D :D :D God bless them unions :D :D :D
