Call INS or not? - any advise?

Hello everybody!
I am desperately waiting for my and my wife's EAD, it was filed concurrently with RD of spet 10 and ND of sep 20th. I have got my FP done on 10/31. So far, no news on our EAD applications.. I was wondering if I should call up INS and talk to somebody? Would it be of any use? Somebody told me that it could potentially delay my applications further, is it true? Is there any body waiting for their EAD around my dates?

By the way... 485/EAD were sent to NSC with 140 received notice on sept 9th, my I-140 was approved on sept 4th and the lawyer recieved it on sept 10th. Should he send the approval notice to NSC?
 
Hi,

I dont think that is a problem, by talking to an IIO at NSC it is not going to delay the process. I have spoken to the IIO at NSC several time they are very helpful and nice.
