Call center - rude reply

When you make enquiry at USCIS and are represented by a lawyer can I the benificiary call and make a status check? The guy who spoke to me was so rude and said I cannot make one. My lawyer only has to make one. Is this a regulation? can some one give me feedback?

It depends

It all depends on the person you are talking to. I made an Enquiry myself today, even though I have a lawyer working on my case.

Just call back again, and hopefully you will get some help this time.

Not True !

My enquiry, today, was about my I-140 !! and they issued one for me. (that is my second).

I do have a lawyer working on my case as well.
