Is it ok to call USCIS' customer care to check what's going on? My K-3 receipt says processing time is 60 to 180 days and I am already past the 60 day mark. There are no new updated dates online and the case status is unchanged. Any input appreciated. Thank you.

Yes give it a try,I have been very fortunate the 2 or 3 times that I called them.My customer reps were very helpful,if they couldn't help me they transfered me to someone higher than them, and my questions were answered!Give it a try,it all depends on who answers your call.

So the representatives there tell you what they see on computer or they can tell you more? Thanks.

The reps see exactly what you see,but if you get a good one they will forward you to someone who knows everything there is to know about your case. For instance, when I got a rfe i wanted to know if they recieved my response, the rep didn't know so she transfered me to someone who knew.

They read from a set of predetermined answers, and have access to the same updated info you have with a computer connected to the Internet.
