Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let you all know that if you have any questions and are getting guesses from here, call Buffalo. The consulars are very polite and helpful and will answer any inquiry you may have.
I have called in twice and was amazed by how courteous they are.

I agree with Texas that the people at Buffalo are very nice and
helpful when called. But we should avoid calling them unless
really needed, such as an usually long delay when compared to
what people are reporting on this forum and other forums,
such as misc.immigration .canada

Buffalo is understaffed, which causes delays in our applications.
The more time they spend answering our phone calls, the less time
they have to process our applications. A lot of information can
be found in the internet. We should call Buffalo only when we
can\'t find the info online.

Just my 2 cents (worth 3 canadian cents though) worth.

Dont call too much

Hi Folks,

  Do not call too much, a friend in my office got a letter from the canadian immigration for calling them a lot of times. I read the letter. The letter it seems mentions that they are have a big workload and have a lot of backlog, he was asked to be patient till they notify him of further action.
