CA DOL LC status on phone

Hi

I tried calling the CA DOL at 415 phone number.I was told to enter the Tax ID of the employer, I did & the system prompted it can't recognize it.
I keyed in my employer's phone no, same results.
What does this mean ?

Has anyone experienced this ? Any thoughts ?

Dial 415 975 4617 & 1,1 if you know the case number... 1, 2 if you know the company / attorney phone number used in your application... It will ask for Tax Id only if you press 2 which is for LCA (H1B)...

Hi

You have said press 1 -1 , but the first 1-option is for permanent applications & 2 is for labour condition. So I press 2 & it asks for Tax id.
I give the id , its not recognized. now It says press 1 -case no & 2-phone no
I only have my employers & attorney's phone number.Even thats not recognized by the system

Any suggestions

I thought you wanted to check for Labor Certification not Conditioning.. option 1 is for permenant applications (Labor Certification for GC) & 2 is for Labor Conditioning (H1B)... if you are looking for H1B LCA status, you will need Tax Id !
