My permanent address on file has been always in CA since I got my greencard (Feb 05). Went to college in NY and lived in a few other states for short while for internships. During this time, I have filed taxes as a resident of NY and skipping CA. Will this be a cause for me to restart my 3 month residency clock once I get back to California later this year before I can apply to the office in Los Angeles? If not, will the fact that I lived in a few other states in the past interfere at all? (since I will be listing these addresses on the application...)
