My husband is working on one of the ships of Carnival Cruise Lines.
He is going to finish his contract on 12 July.
We live in Hungary,and I am planning to surprise him and meet him in Miami,when he is signing off from the ship.
I would like to surprise him with a Las Vegas vacation(6 days).
The only problem is that my husband has only a C and D Visa.Is he allowed to stay with these visas for 6 days after he leaves the ship,so we can go on vacation?Ihave all the documents: tickets,reservations,and I have the flight tickets proving that we are leaving the States on the 20 july.
Is there any possibility to ask for an overstay (6 days)at the Airport Immigration in Miami if he can not stay with C and D Visa?
