C-11 regulations and 183 days rule ????

Hi all,
Now that the regulations are out, could you please share the info and ideas regarding ,

183 day rule obligation.....is it retroactive ?

Any info. will be appreciated......thanks !!!!

Regulations related to Transition have not been published

They will publish the 2nd half of the regulation in Feb next year.

In the just-published regulations, I have not seen any place relating to whether pr landed so far will still be judged by the 183-day rule or the new 3yr/5yr rule.

I left Canada more than 183 days. I am also concerned if i can still go back to Canada as PR. If the new 3yr/5yr rule applies to me, I can still qualify as PR.

My 183 days will pass soon. I have not made up my mind whether or not to go there before that since I certainly would not like to move there permanently without a prospective job offer.
