My brother is on H1B visas with labour applied since 7-8 months. God knows when he will get his labor approved and god knows when he will get his green card. While he is on his H1B, he would like to do some business.
There is a business opporunity for him where he can invest money. Can he go ahead with that? Can this affect his H1B of green card in any way in future.
He will be just investing money, not work for the business. I would also like to know what are his rights on the business? He is going to invest less then 50% of the business caplital required for the business. The other part of the money will be invested by other partners. What will be his rights if he finds out that the partners are stealing money out of the business or not giving him proper accounts of the business?
Would it be better to by the business in our father's name rather who does not recide in USA at all to avoid complications with his H1 or green card?
What will be my fathers rights on the business if we do that?
