Bush has no power any more. His state of union is like his wish list for santa to bring him! he is a total idiot...after all that thinking..this is all he could come up with!

There was deafening silence during this part of the speech (unlike the copious applause in all other parts). Expect a lot of grandstanding but no action on this issue. And if nothing happens this year, you can be sure nothing will next year when the election cycle goes into full gear.

Conversely, I think this year is probably the best chance something favorable to us gets passed on the Hill. Republicans lost a lot of Hispanic votes last November for *obvious* reasons, and Democrats now have real interests there to do it so they can consolidate their votes for 2008 and for years to come. Personally, I don't give a sh!t to whatever Bush said in the State of the Union Address (who takes that guy seriously anyway?). I am cautiously optimistic, at least for now. Even if the undocumented dominate the media coverage, that's fine as long as we can get *real* gain.

If nothing happens this time, then what herenthere said. Fingers crossed... [prayer]

math.talks

legalizing 12 million illegal immigrants;
lets see how it works=

say 8 hours (1 working day) needs to legalizing one illigal immigrant.(all steps)

12.000.000 illigal immigrant=12 million working day =2.400.000 weeks=46.153 years needs for one officer.

say they have 1000 officers just for illigal immigrants = it takes 46 years.

say they have 5000 officer for just illigal immigrants = it takes 9.2 years.

math talks bull s..... walks.
