Bush has informed Mexico's Fox that the chances for US Immigration overhual have become unlikely before midterm elections in the fall.


I think, CIR is the only way out of this mess.
CIR is promising but depends on after election enviornment.

yes, it will br around thanksgiving, when there will some forward movements across any category. I dont want to sound pessimistic but I think its the reality.

CIR can come before election, chances are 1%
After election 99%

They will spend 2/3 months debating. That would take us to March 07 and if CIR is passed with yearly limit as proposed as of today, (490 K), USCIS will take about min six months to implement. that makes it to Oct 07. So essentially, it will be an year before you can expect something.

All I can say is lets all pray & wish that dates move forward, as early as possible.


Conclusion: Let's be positive. There is always light at the end of tunnel.
