Bursty Pattern of 485 Approvals

Hi folks,

I have observed bursty pattern of 485 approvals, or atleast
on this board. Suddenly guys report approvals one after
another and then there is slow down and then spike comes
back after a while.

Is this some kind of Batch processing INS does???
