I applied for immigration last Sep 2000. I got AOR on Oct 31. Then I was told by my lawyer on Feb 4th that an interview is required and it will be held in the next 7-10 months. Also I have been sent my medical forms by the Canadian Embassy. My interview will be held in Detroit. Now it is April and I need to go to India. I know getting a visa to come back for my interview would be extremely difficult. But as of now I dont even know the date on which my interview will take place. Will calling the canadian embassy in Detroit help to atleast know what date the interview will take place. I was thinking Detroit is fast but it is taking almost 1.5 yrs on my case.
Some one please help me as I am extremely tense.

I am waiting for the same interview even longer than yours. Don\'t worry. The interview will take place two months ahead of another information from Detoit which is coming soon. You can go back at least 2 months without problem. No help to call them, at least this time.
