I have applied for immigrant visa for my brother in Macedonia since 2009. It takes more then 10 year to get the visa, so I figured to come and see me with Tourist visa. He went today in Skoje and was denied visa saying he has permamnent alignemnt in his file from 2000 and the only way to remove it is to have your brother get a lawyer in Washington. Has anyone heart of this before? Im afraid this might affect his immigrant visa after 10 years. to provide you history on this, my brother was with my mom in US embassy in 2000 and had verbal argument with the concler where she told him to sign a document stating that my mom laid about some document she provided, and my brother never sighed it. I think the US Consul then put in my brothers file a permanent stop since she told him you will never be able to go in US again. Any recomendation? Can you recomend a layer or something or has anyone done this before? How can I remove his ban? He is not a criminal or anything, just had an argument with wrong person...
