bringing my children to the us

i am a us citizen, planing to move to the us with my wife and children that are canadians, i didn't live in the us so long to be able to transfer us citizenship to them automaticly, but my parents live now in the us, so i have 2 options,

1. i can sponsor my wife and children for green cards, and when i move to the us my children automaticly become us citizens.
2. i can make my children us citizens through my parents, by applying for citizenship with form n600k, and to sponsor only my wife.

please write which way is easier, and cheaper.

I believe option 2 is cheaper becuae you are only paying one visa bill.

but the n600k also cost $460, per child
