Break from job with approved EAD while GC is pending

Hello to all the GC process champions and gurus,

I have a rather simple query and will appreciate if someone could help.

I know once I485 is approved (i.e. you get THE gc ) a person can go out of the US for the period of upto 6 months without loosing status.

My question is - For a person with EAD (and after 180 day from the days I485 was filed), for how long can he/she take break from the work? How long can the person be outside US without loosing the status?

Once you go out of US there is no status. Green card is future job. All they look is offer. If you can satisfy USCIS that offer still exists then you should get green card.
