Hi

we both went for FP on 10/23 but my spouse LUD changed on 10/28 mine has not changed....any information why is like that!!??any one had the same exp!!?

It depends on how long FBI confirm the FP of each individual and send it to respecting processing centers. It varries from person to person and the FP results
 
me too in the same boat. Done FP for both me and my wife. My wife online status got changed on 11/02 saying they got her FP and mine still did not get updated
 
hey guys...they may do more research with men FP.....may be that will delay the process....they will need to compare with so many FP's..... :cool:
 
Just called FBI @ 304-625-5590 to check my finger printing status. She told me that my FP check is done on the same day (FP date Oct14/2004 at Newark) and sent it to Immigration services . But website status is not changed.

When you are calling keep your Alien # (Number that starts with "A" on left top corner of yourFP notice) ready.

In our case, My wife's FPs are taken manually (on paper). Mine was done on machine. They do not have enough FP machines at Newark,NJ
 
My Experiance with FP LUDs

Myself and spouse went for FP on 9/11/04

My spouse LUD changed to 9/15/04. Mine did not. And I was worried like you all are now.

I called FBI and they told me that they send the results back to BCIS they same day. hmmm.......

Oct first week I received a Re-Fingerprinting Notice stating that fingerprint need to be re-taken as the first time they were Un-classifiable ( meaning unclear in common language) . This Re-fingerprinting notice came from BCIS at Fedral Plaza, New York City, NY rather than BCIS at Vermont and the appointment date was handwritten by the officer. This notice also did not had the barcode (the original notice contains the barcode).

So the FBI did send the results to BCIS the same day but the result was that the fingerprint were not clear. FBI tells you that they sent the results but they do not tell you the actual result. In my case as you see it was Re-Fingerprinting.....

I went to get fingerprinted on 10/19/04. A senior officer printed a barcode and stapled it my stack of papers while I awaited to get Re-fingerprinted. Below the barcode it was clearly written " Please schedule an appointment for the applicant for Re-fingerprinting as the prints taken on 9/11/04 are un-classifiable.
I got fingerprinted and this time I was looking carefully that the prints go OK. I made sure that I see a PASS in the box on the left hand corener of the FP machine for every single print the lady was taking.

On 10/21/04 my LUD got updated with the FP received and processing resumed message.


Now I am waiting for the approval .......... or any other surprises which may still be pending......

Goodluckgc2003.... I made sure that I see a PASS in the box on the left hand corener of the FP machine for every single print the guy was taking....but still its not updated...lets see......

in our case, my 2nd FP got updated, but my wife's status still shows the same 1st FP messege eventhough the update date has changed. My lawyer mentioned that they have seen lot of such cases and not to be worried ?!
 
Interesting. My wife and I had our FP on Oct 14 in Baltimore. My wife's status was updated on Oct 21 to : <i> On October 21, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.</i>
My wife also got her EAD and AP approved on Nov 8 and Nov 9.

My FP was updated on Oct 22 saying <i>"On October 21, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review."</i>
I called FBI and they told me they sent the results for my wife and I the same day. I don't know why the delay.
 
LUD changed but not change in the message

Hi Guys,

LUD changed after we had done FP nov4th. But there is no change in the message. Anybody is the same boat?

My wife and I had our AP and EAD approved. But my 1st FP still says that "pending review". Does anyone know if I should be worried about my FP status. Normally, do people get their EAD, AP before the FP results were reviewed and you get a status that "processing has resumed" ? I dont know what to make of this.
