Both Mine and My Wife\'s 485 transferred to local INS

After replying to RFE (birth affidavits), NSC transferred mine and My Wife\'s 485 to local INS (San Jose, CA).
Gurus any Idea whats happening ? Anything I need to worry/careful about ?
Any help greatly appreciated..
 
Please Post your marriage date...maybe it\'s too close with your 485 filing date...

I am kind of in the same boat as you are (minus the local transfer so far). We received an RFE for BC and our response was received on Jan 9th by INS, but we have not heard anything back, though a lot of others have got their approval after replying much later then us.

How long of a time gap was their b/w INS recv. your RFE response and local transfer. Also, did you by any chance of dual nationality or residency somewhere else too. Changed jobs after 180 days.

No, marriage date is not too close to my 485 filing.. Infact even before 140 filed.

my PD: 6/99, EB2 India
140 : 6/00
485 RD: 10/00
   ND: 11/00
   FP: 03/01
   RFE:Jan 10 02
   RFE:Reply Ack: Jan 30 02
   Transferred to local INS : Feb 19, 02
Marriage Date was before I filed I140..

Any one with experience of : case transferred to local INS office and got approved/rejected ?
