just wanted to write about our stamping experience at boston. we had taken an infopass appointment for 9am tuesday 5th october. reached there exact time. there are 2 lines, got into the infopass line and showed the security guard the appt letter. he then asked us to wait till called. we were the first in line as it was 9am then. we got called in, showed our approval notices and appt letter, got a token. and were asked to go for ffingerprinting.
they took our index fingerprint, asked to sign the forms, told us not to fill the form but to give at the counter when our number is called. when we went in again there were 5 people infront of us.
the officer asked us for approval notices, ead , ap cards/notices, passport, photos(new style of photos needed). well thats all he kept enetring stuff on the form, asked us for nothing more. stamped our passport(valid for a year) and told that the card is taking around 6-12 months to come in the mail. we were done by 10am.
i would suggest to get an infopass appt and be there on time. if u r late then u need to go to the end of line.

good luck

I was there on Tuesday as well and some advice

I had an appointment in Boston on Tuesday the 5th at 10 AM.
Your experience confirms an appointment optimization theory I developed while waiting.

There were 20 people in front of me when I got there just after 10. I was about 5 minutes late I did not have to go to the end of the line. I actually wnet to the front and they let me in ahead of others in the Infopass line who had later appointments. There were two officers serving the queue that we were in. At 11:30 one went to lunch and returned about 30 minutes later. I did not get out until about 12:45. So it took me 2 3/4 hours vs. your 1 hour.

It appears they use the Infopass appointments only to regulate when you come in to get your spot in the queue. Therefore an earlier appointment gets you a better spot in the lineup.

For those who have not booked your appointment yet, I suggest that when the time comes to pick a Infopass appointment, pick the earliest one you can get and arrive 15 minutes early (the earliest they allow). This will get you an earlier token number in the queue and you will get out faster.

Add change and Stamping

Thanks for your post, I was wanting to hear something on the stamping process. I will be going in for my stamping in washington.

I have a 'situation', as I moved recently I sent AR 11 earlier this month but the 485 approval notices never reached at my new add (attorney sent me his), so I don't think the address update has been made in their system yet.

Should I get my address changed at the time of stamping? Is it possible ?
I have AR11 mail and return receipt, which I plan to carry with me for stamping. Any suggestions to handle the address change issue?

thanks.
