Got the passport stamped (finally)...at Boston INS office today.
(You can find ND/RFE info at the end this mesg)
We went at 7:30am. First went directly to the information desk (outside the E160 room) to get our finger prints taken.
(NOTE: Followed VSC99\'s advice and went directly to the info desk for finger prints form instead of standing in the line at the E160 room..saved lots of time and avoided having to wait in the line twice)
Then we waited in the line outside E160 room,took the ticket number..and went in. While waiting for our number to be called, we got our pictures taken ($10 for each person, we paid in cash).
NOTE: I think there are photo studios outside the bldg..but we decided to go inside first and get our photos taken in the E 160 room...saves some time..since we can finish the photo work while waiting for our number to be called... NOTE: You should write your name and Alien number (you can find it on your 485 reciepts..) behind the photos with pencil...(if you don\'t have a pencil you can buy one at the coffee shop next to the corridor

Waited for 30-40 minutes for our turn. The actual stamping process took less then 3 minutes. We were asked to turn in our EAD cards and also the Advance Parole docs...(Actually we forgot to take our Advance Parole docs..but the man behind the counter did not complain ..!!!). He stamped our passports and said something like "you\'ll get your GC in mail within a year".
We were out of the bldg by 9:00...
