I searched a lot for interview experiences in Boston but there were none or maybe one or two. Just thought I should post this in case there were others out there.
Our case was transferred from VSC to Boston. Our interview in Boston was on July 7th at 10am. We got there half hour early and were made to wait for the next two hours. My (principal) green card was approved last month but they needed some documents for my wife. We had that document but we didn’t have another document. My wife had a DUI arrest 5 years ago when she was in college and they wanted paperwork for it. They said that after they receive that, they will approve it. Not sure how long that process is but I presume it’s not a problem. Overall, the interviewer was courteous and just asked general questions. They also asked for documents to prove that we were married since we got married only 6 months ago. We had a lease in both our names and a bank statement with the same names/address so that was enough to show that we lived together.
We got the interview LUD on June 7th, Interview notice arrived in mail on June 25th or so…and was schedule for July 7th so overall, it was pretty quick with no delays. It would have been approved if we had the required document.
Good Luck.
