I am a Oct 12th, 2001 RD applicant, waiting for the GC like so many of us, MY EAC card expires on 12/25/02. I had read on this board that the INS office was not issuing EAC renewals on the same day, its not true as I got my EAC renewed today at the JFK building. All you need is form I-765, $120 in the form of a money order/ bank check, old EAC card, and 2 forms of ID, license and passport would be good, I had taken 2 passport pics, but they didnt even need those, as they took the picture their itself.
Maybe they had stopped doing same day renewals for a while, but they are doing it now. If you are debating between sending everything to Vermont and then playing the waiting game, I recommend going to the JFK building and getting it done the same day.
Get there by 7 A.M or you will end up spending 7-8 hrs.
The Office is now closed every 3rd Friday, they are closed on the 24th & 25th.
