Boring and thinking

Why does it take NSC so long to clean up the July, August, September, and October cases?? I believe the four months got a lot of applications and they are finishing them. So the November, December, and even 2002 cases will be touched very soon.

Does anyone know if NSC or INS has much less cases in 2002 than in 2001? If Yes, by what percentage?

going by the numbers on rupnet...

... june thru october RD months in 2001 had the highest number of filers. the numbers reduce significantly in nov and dec 2001, and are lower still into 2002.

assuming that rupnet registrants are an accurate sample of the actual number of filers, i would venture to speculate that once oct 2001 RD month is dealt with (or at least 75% of the cases are, as some believe), we would be over the hump, and should be able to see nov-dec 2001, and possibly early 2002 cases being touched within the year.

that is an optimistic view, of course.

I saw some postings that NSC is sending RFEs for Nov and Dec 2001. I think the applications for 2002 is pretty low.

still early in the game...

there's only 2 reported RFEs for nov 01 RD, and 1 in dec 01. on the other hand, there is even an approval posted for a nov 01 RD case by user "Ronjon", whose RD/ND/AD are 11/23/2001 12/03/2001 and 08/26/2002 (if it isn't a fake, it might be an age-out expedite?)...

so it is hard to see a trend yet...
