Birth RFE

I have received a birth RFE. When I filed for my I-485, we submitted a birth certificate. Now if we submit affidavits, I read some place that affidavits are supporting documents for a non availability certificate issued by municipality or comparable authority. The certificate that they would give is the records are not available. However we submitted a birth certificate initially. Won't this be a contradiction to that. Also to complicate things both of my parents have passed away. who else can I get these affidavits from. If I get it from my brother and uncle should I include the death certificates of my parents as evidence.
Any wisdom in this regard is highly appreciated.

When We filed for 485, we submitted affidavits and
as well as birth Certificates.You can provide affadavits from Uncle,Aunt or any relatives who are like elder or of same age to your Parents.
Mine is Nov-2001 RD. We got our approval with out
any Birth Certificate Ref.
