Hi,

I am planning to apply for PR in Canada.

One of the requirements is providing birth certificates. I dont have a birth certificate avialable.

Is there any other document I can submit instead of a birth certificate.

Please help.

Thanks,
Bharath.

Hi ,
I am not sure if this will apply for canadian immigration but for US following is done -

From the municple corporation of the city listed as your birthplce on passport get "non availability" certificate of birth record .
+
Get a 2 affidavits from your parents / close elder relative claiming your identity, relation ship with you and your birth date and place.

We have send photocopies of above two with our canadian immigration application but do not if it was accepted yet. (Havent yet recived file num)

Regards,
apms
