I recently translated my spouses birth certiificate to english with a court certified translator, who on the back page placed a translator stamp, when I went to get the apostille stamp, in the court they placed the appostille stamp on another blank paper, stapled it to the translated document and at the place it was stapled placed a court/government stamp overlaping the two papera ... is this type of document accepted by the USCIS ? does the appostile stample go directly on the back side of the translated document ? the reason they did it this way is Im guessing since the translator placed his stamp on the translated document and they had no space for the appostile stamp...
