Birth certificate

If a birth cert. is not available, non-available cert. and 2 affidavits are needed.

1) Is the affidavit needed from parents or other relatives?
2) Can someone post the contents of Non-availablity certificate and the affidavit?

I took 2 affidavits of birth for myself. one from my father and the other from my meternal uncle. I did that on a stamp paper and got it notorized.

Also the person giving the affidavit has to be at least 10 years older than you in case they are not your parents.

I took from my two brothers. One is 10 years older than me and the other one is 8 years older than me.No problem, got approved without any RFE. My spouse submitted BC from Madras board school certficate. Also got approved.
