My friend who's 485 RD is jan03 just got an RFE for birth certificate. She had originally submitted an affidavit from her mother. uscis wants her to provide a non availabilty certificate for BC. Problem is she has had her BC made recently, however her name is mis-spelt. Can she still turn this in along with new affidavit? Has any one had a similar problem before? Any input is highly appreciated.
