Hi friends, My birth certificate was not registered at the time of birth. When lawyer asked me, I registered it 2 months back and brought the afiidavits from my parents saying that at the time of birth my birth was not registered and it registered recently. The affidavits also contain the details of birth. I found one of my friends person same as my case got the RFE saying that the birth certificate was registered too late and evidence is not sufficient. INS people need some more "oldest" evidence that will prove the birth and parentage.
My questions are "Does this kind of RFE is frequent ? What should be done ? I mean what OLDEST evidence we should provide ? Because in India you hardaly get a cetrificate which has a name of your mother on it. INS people need your full name,birth date, father\'s name and Mother\'s name too in just one certificate. INS says "The school certificate may help is not sufficient..."
