Birth Certificate Non-Availability Certificate question of CP in Chennai..

Guys.
I don\'t have a Birth Certificate.. I have taken a "Non Availability
Certificate" from my municipality (certificates states that my
birth was not registered) And 2 affidavits from my Father & Mother
stating my Date of Birth..

My question is are these "Non Availability" + Affidavits enough for
CP @ Chennai.. Or should I get a get a Birth Certificate from court?
I have heard that we can get a birth certificate from court.. But
I think this is a painful process..

Any one had there CP in Chennai with just "Non Availibity certificate"
+ Affidavits please respond..
 
Friend\'s experience..

One of my friend went to CP in chennai with the non availability certificate from court and the affidavits from parents but Chennai consulate asked for more proof and he had to submit his college TC. So better take a copy of the documents that can show the proof of date of birth.
