BC
The BC issued by Indian Counsalate is just the same information as in your passport and will not be considered for US immigration. It has to be obtained from the local authority at the place of birth. If BC is not available, Non-Availability can submitted with affidavits.

How about getting one from gram panchayat my attorney told me that and I have put that along with the affidavits from my parents.... because the registrar refused to give either one to us . He was asking for money and my parents refused.....old army man
......but really love to hear from some one in the same boat..
I hope I don't get an RFE for the same because the birth certificate from Gram panchayat doesn't say so and so register an so and so law and so and so registration number and it is plane writen "this guywas born here on so and so date......."
