Hi - Here is my issue. I have a birth certificate issued at Patna. This does not have my name or my parents name. Aditionally this is in Hindi.

Given this situation I dont know what to do? I already have prepared an affadavit with both of my parents.

Please advise!

Thanks

How is it possible that the BC has no names at all?

I think if your parents try to get a fresh copy from the patna muncipal then it will have your parents name and your name.

Affidavit should mention that the BC does not contain the names

I have filed an affidavit in lieu of BC. However, I have read at this site that some members have got a proper BC issued now, although the city may not have issued it at the time of their birth.

I think you should go the affidavit route or get a proper BC. There is no point in presenting a suspicious looking documents. Knowing Patna quite well, I don't think getting a proper BC poses much problem.

In liu of certificates, you may give affidavit for your parent, additionally you may provide school passing certificates having the birth dates, that would do !!

Did you get any RFE or query for that ??

Just my opinion

Since the BC doesn't have your parents name either - you might be better off with just the affidavits. I am wondering what your BC looks like (without any names)!

I heard about Bihari Govt and people

but this is height ----

A "certificate" issued - with no name to whom it belongs :D:D
A "birth cert" issued with no mention of to whom the child is born :D:D
some body kept in in safe so long expecting to have a value out of it
Howmany places in "BIHAR" you used it ? :D:D

A question is being asked - what is the alternative :D:D

Why di dyou get this doubt ? You should have send it to BCIS

At least your certificate would have been published in "Time" :D:D

You are right Shantanu Bhaisaab (big brother, for puritans),

This seems like real life TGIF.

Bihar has endless possibilities.
Remember Fodder episode in Bihar? The govt. paid a bill for transporting a bull. Upon closer scrutiny the vehicle turned out to be a Hamara Bajaj scooter. Looks like Laloo's research on Bonzai Bulls finally paid off. Is Stockholm listening ?????

tchangul,

i just noticed that the BC does not have your name either. Looks like you did not "provide enough weight" to the clerk at Patna and he decided to play a practial joke on you.

"ethi frame kara leejiye na! kahe BCIS ko bhejte hain?"
(why don't you get it framed instead of sending it to BCIS?)
