How would I go about fixing all my birth certificate information, including my name and birthdate, on all my immigration documentation?

I never mentioned anything about it being illegal, it's not good to jump to conclusions. I have my birth certificate from my native country, but the Immigration documents I have I believe have the wrong b-day and last name. I want to know how I would go about fixing the birthdate on my immigration documents if I have my birth certificate from my native country?

One way that I can think of is " if the certificate is not in ENGLISH, get translated and notorized ( You have to get this done anyway), then send it to USCIS as a proof and get your docts amended accordingly.
