Birth Certificate from Embassy & PCC from Saudi

Hello,

We have obtained our Birth Certificates from the Indian Embassy, W'ton DC for ourselves, though both of us are born in India. They issue this based on the dates recorded on our passports (which itself is based on our declarations and the School leaving Certificates.)

Would this certificate be an issue when we go for Consular Processing? Anyone has any experience with this? Or would they stubbornly insist for parents or relatives affidavits or certificates from local municipal authorities where we were respectively born?

The other question we have is about Police Clearance Cerficate from Saudi Arabia. Their embassy in DC does not issue one for foreign nationals who resided in the Saudi Arabia at some point in time. The US State website says that Saudi Arabia does not issue PCC for foreign nationals who are not residing in that country any more. We are not sure how much the US Consulates in India would buy this. Anyone has any experience in this?

Thanks in advance for any of your comments on these.

For CP purposes, BC issued by consulates are not accepted in place of original BC. One needs to get original BC or Non-Availability certificate along with 2 affidavits! This is requirement!

As far as PCC for Saudi, send an email to the saudi consulate in DC, let them respond stating they will not provide it. Then forward that email to Indian consulate and see what they have to say!

NAC is a certificate issued by local municipal authorities who normally issue BC but in scenarios where BC records are not available with these authorities then they issue NAC - Non-Availability Certificate!

Hanuman,

Try writing to Saudi embassy you may be lucky. I wrote to them twice for PCC hey have not responded to me. It was was for canadian immigration though. This was one of the main reasons that i did not do my CP process.
