Birth Certificate from Chennai

The chennai government now have a new system of printing the certified copy of the birth certificate from the computer. But NVC says I need to send in the original. can anyone tell me how they obtained the original and was their printout from the gov. site was accepted (mine was black and white printer copy and does a color copy help). Any tips regarding this would be helpful.

Does it have an original signature and seal of an official?

yes it is a computer generated certificate but it is certified and not orignial

You did not answer the question I asked - does it have an original signature of a person and an original seal/rubber stamp?

Actually the computer generates a seal with the date and also has the official signature.
