Birth Certificate and Passport discrepency question

Hi,

I need some help with the Birth Certificate. This is for a friend of mine.

DOB (Date of Birth) in the Date or Birth Certificate is differnet from the DOB on the Passport. It is differnet by One day.

What should we do in this case. Can an affadavit help solving this Issue or do we need to do anything else?
