Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate from consulate

I have seen a number of posts regarding birth certificate and marriage certificate questions.

I noticed on the website of Indian consulate (NY) that they issue both birth and marriage certificates based on your passport.

Shouldn\'t these be acceptable for I-485 application?
 
Used BC from consulate

i submitted a BC from the consulate and was approved without any RFE
