Birth Certificate and Affidavit

Hi Kashmir & Gurus,

Please help in this one.

Recently i filed I-140/485 in CSC.My birth certificate registeres at the time of birth.But my wife's birth certificate registered in the year 2002.It is in English with her parents name.Now my question is

Bcos of registration date(Recent Year) Any problem with my wife's birth certificate.For this is there need to produce any affidavit??

Registration date does not matter as long as it's "birth ceritificate" from a proper authority. Does her ceritificate mention the registration date? I don't think so. As far I know it has an certificate issue date and this date can be any date - as the authority can re-issue certificate anytime based on their record.

As "140_takes_4ever" suggested, it's harmless if you provide the affidavits too.
 
affidavit will do

as 140 mentioned, just submit a notirized affidavit, you'll be just fine. I know few guys who got GC w/ only affidavit from their parents.
