birth cert & DD question

Hi,

I have a CP interview on July 19th. I have a birth certificate from MRO (Mandal revnue Officer). It is just a letter with his stamp and sign. Also another letter (certificate) from panchayat president. Will that be enough or do I need anything else?

If I am applaying for 2 people (myself and wife), I need to get 4 DDs (2 for $260 and 2 for $65)..Is that right?

(I haven't got my packet 4). Appreciate any response.

It's 7/19 and u still haven't recd. pkt 4?

You had better go and get the packet or follow up some how, otherwise you won't be able to get all your documents together on time. It might be better to call/email the consulate and have them postpone your interview. If you go to the interview without proper documents, then that could be worse than delaying the interview. Make sure you follow the instructions in pkt 4 clearly.
 
embassy people said they posted packet 4 to my local address in India. They haven't received it so far. My lawyer received covering letter and sent it to me 2 days back. I called up emabassy. They said remaining packet can be dowloaded from their web site.

I believe cover letter is good enough to get lab and medicals done. I am also taking a copy of interview date from web site.

Thanks for the response and concern. I think (sure rather) I got all other documents I need for the interview. :-)

Birth cert is the only one I had doubt. I got this an year and half back when I started GC after my lawyer told me.
