Biometrics notice

My wife recently went to get her biometrics after receiving her approval notice. But they did not stamp her passport. Now I have received an email stating that her card has been mailed.

My question is what happens to the I-94 which is still attached to her passport.

I believe now a days they changed procedure and once biometric done they are sending plastic.

Once LPR status granted no I-94 is required.

According to new procedure, they don't stamp on passport neither they took any documents back(I-94,EAD,AP etc). All yours and treat every thing like a souvenir
