Biometrics notice after plastic card?

Received biometrics notice yesterday though my plastic card arrived last week.
What does this mean? Does anyone else have the similar experience?

Like approval date.
Did approval mention about biometrics letter. When did you do ur last finger print.

It was approved last Nov. and the approval notice didn't say anything about biometrics.
