Biometrics for N-400 and I-131

I have to go for fingerprinting for my I-131 (re-entry permit) on Feb. 11th.

I have also applied for naturalization (N-400) and they have sent me only the receipt notice for it and am waiting for the fingerprint notice to come in soon.

My question is, can I take the receipt notice for the N-400 and try to get my finger prints done at the same time I go for my I-131 fingerprints? Has anyone tried this and can this be done?
 
I spoke to USCIS customer service and they said that I can try to get the fingerprints for the N-400 when I go for the fingerprinting for my re-entry permit. Its at the discretion of the local ASC as to whether or not they will allow it. I'm going to try to do it and will keep you posted on how that pans out. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate any response from anyone if this is a viable course of action.
