Biometrics for EAD

Just a very basic question on EAD. If we file online EAD application, we get a notice for biometric and digital photo appointment. But in case of paper application do we call them and schedule biometric at ASC. Also. do we pay additional $70 for biometrics.
If i have already done biometric for I-485, do i still need to do it again for EAD.

For paper filed EAD application, biometircs are not required. Hence no need to send any addl amount of money for biometrics for a paper filed EAD application.
Biometrics given for I-485 will not be used for EAD application whether you e-file or paper file method.
