I have applied for my EAD renewal (receipt date Mar18/2005) and 90 days have passed. I took info pass appt with local ins office and the officer mentioned that they need to have my Biometrics done before they can issue interim EAD. I told him that I did not receive any notice from service center regarding the biometrics.He said that I need to wait for the letter, finish my biometrics and then come back for interim EAD.
For some reason I did not receive any notice from Nebraska service center about making appt for Biometrics? I called 1800 number and was told that I need to write a letter to Nebraska svc center requesting to send me a notice about the biometrics. I did that . My EAD got expired and I am on unpaid leave and would like find out if there are any possibilities of getting interim EAD with out biometric? or in any other manner? Also I would like to find out if there is anyone with this kind of situation and can share their experience.
